Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 4, "The God of Saiyans," might have the best Super Saiyan God transformation we've ever seen. So why does the rest of the episode leave so much to be desired? After two fantastic opening episodes, Kyle is starting to question the creative direction of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. Episode 4 delivers some stunning visuals and excellent editing choices, but the uneven pacing, questionable cuts, and excessive focus on Oolong and Beerus playing rock-paper-scissors make this one a mixed bag. This week on Dragon Ball Super Dope, we're breaking down the fourth episode of the updated Battle of Gods storyline, including why the decision to cut Vegeta's comedic moments might actually hurt his character development, how Gohan and Videl's big announcement loses some of its emotional weight, and whether the incredible Super Saiyan God ritual is enough to make up for everything else. We also discuss the new CGI Shenron, some clever callbacks to the original Dragon Ball Super anime, Piccolo…

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3 – The Weakest One So Far?

This week on Dragon Ball Super Dope, Kyle breaks down Episode 3, "The God of Destruction Heads to Earth," and explains why this might be the weakest installment of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus so far. Between questionable animation decisions, rushed storytelling, and some bizarre editing choices, this episode raises an important question: Is the new version of Dragon Ball Super actually improving the original anime? Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2 FIXED The WORST Goku Fight!
EscuchadoDragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2 just FIXED one of the worst animated fights in Dragon Ball history! The infamous Goku vs. Beerus battle on King Kai's Planet has received a massive upgrade, and the results might be even better than the original Battle of Gods movie! In this episode of Dragon Ball Super Dope, Kyle reviews Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 2, breaking down the completely reworked Super Saiyan Goku vs. Beerus fight, the improved animation and choreography, and the surprising influence of Toyotaro's Dragon Ball Super manga. With the new anime already condensing roughly five episodes of the original Dragon Ball Super series into just two, the updated Battle of Gods arc is moving quickly without sacrificing the character moments that make Dragon Ball great. We also discuss one of the biggest improvements that nobody seems to be talking about: Goku's personality. Instead of the reckless, battle-obsessed version of Goku from the original Dragon Ball Super anime, this version actually seems to…
